On July 20, a joint investigation between Tomah VA Medical Center Police, Tomah Police Department and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department led to the arrest of two people, one being a Tomah VA Medical Center employee, for selling illegal narcotics on Tomah VA Medical Center property. The Tomah VAMC applauds these actions as they play a critical role in supporting the safety and welfare of the Veterans in our care.

This joint investigation also conducted a July 21 operation at the Tomah VA Medical Center campus where another individual was attempting to sell illegal narcotics to a Veteran.

The Tomah VA Medical Center and its staff would like to thank the Tomah Police Department, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and the VA Police for their assistance and diligence in removing illegal narcotics from circulation and making this endeavor possible.
